As global travel restrictions lifted, UC Davis veterinary students in Global Programs externships and fellowships were able to resume exploring professional opportunities this past summer. At the Global Programs Film Festival on Thursday, September 15, at Gladys Valley Hall on campus, they presented their videos and took the audience on trips across the world. From studying chagas disease in Hidalgo, Mexico to elephant herpesvirus in Nepal, students received invaluable veterinary and field experience while helping to advance veterinary research and share medical knowledge.
