With its upcoming Canine Behavior Symposium on May 14, the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is returning to in-person participation at its continuing education events.
Following a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Don Low/CVMA Practitioner Fellowship will once again be offered at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). The advanced training program for veterinarians provides 20 days of in-depth continuing education (CE) in multiple specialty services. The fellowship can be completed on a flexible basis and earns the participant up to 100 hours of CE credits. Applications are now being accepted for the 2022-2023 academic year (deadline: January 7, 2022).
The 33rd Annual Charles Heumphreus Memorial Lecture will take place February 16, 2019 at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM). This year’s event features farrier Tim Shannon and equine veterinarian Dr. G. Marvin Beeman. Farriers and equine veterinarians are invited to attend the event, which takes place from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Morning lectures will be in Gladys Valley Hall on the SVM campus, with an afternoon hands-on session to follow.
