About Our Office
The Office for Global Programs facilitates programs that support international research partnerships, education, and service with the goal of advancing discovery and meeting societal needs worldwide, while educating future generations of leaders in veterinary medicine.
Through an annual application process, we provide funding for UC Davis SVM students to participate in globally engaged activities including summer externships, fellowships, and senior rotations. The Office for Global Programs also facilitates several funding opportunities for faculty to pursue research and educational programs with partners abroad. Additionally, we provide resources for visiting scholars, researchers, veterinarians, and students from other countries. To support these efforts, our office helps connect travelers with resources to facilitate a safe international travel experience.
