In addition to the requirements of their Graduate Group, AMID students are expected to participate in the activities listed below. Students may also wish to enroll in the designated emphasis in host-microbe interactions (DE-HMI).

UC Davis Sponsored Programs Research Ethics (RCR) Courses

The objective of the Responsible Conduct of Research program is to provide graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, staff and NSF funded undergraduate students with information, training, and tools to address the increasingly complex issues that they will confront during their careers. The RCR program may be used to satisfy NIH, NSF, and USDA-NIFA training grant requirements for the responsible and ethical conduct of research training programs. 

Program schedules are released at the beginning of each academic year, usually in late September. Please check with your Graduate Group and PI to confirm the RCR classes offered by UC Davis Sponsored Programs will satisfy your training requirements before enrolling.
