James Snyder is the Managing Shareholder of Klinedinst PC. At our upcoming Contract Negotiation Lunch Talk Fall 2026, James will present on Klinedinsint’s partnership with the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the legal resources available to CVMA members. The lunch talk will also cover the basic elements of associate veterinary employment agreements, with a focus on common contract terms, potential red flags, and general principles students should keep in mind when reviewing or negotiating their first employment contracts. The session will conclude with time for general Q&A, giving students an opportunity to ask questions about veterinary practice contracts and other legal issues they may encounter as they enter the profession.
