Client Support Wellness Services

Dial 988 if you are experiencing a mental health crisis. The 24/7 Suicide and Crisis Line provides trained counselors who provide free, confidential support.

Client support services are available to support the needs of UC Davis veterinary hospital clients experiencing loss and other emotional stressors in relation to their pet. Client support offers short-term grief assessment consultations, advocacy, and counseling referral services to pet owners in order to improve the emotional well-being of pet owners as it pertains to pet loss, stress, caregiving, and communication between pet owners and veterinary staff.

Client Support Appointments:

Our Mission is to provide supportive grief assessment consultations, advocacy, and counseling referrals to pet owners thereby improving the emotional well-being of a grieving and/or stressed pet owner.
