We had a fantastic ribbon-cutting ceremony for our Advanced Veterinary Surgery Center yesterday! This state-of-the-art facility is set to fully open in November 2023, providing top-notch veterinary surgical care to more companion animals and breaking new ground on surgical innovation. With three operating rooms, a radiology suite, and other advanced features, we aim to reduce wait times for surgeries, train more veterinary students, residents, and fellows, and foster collaborative research opportunities across #UCDavis.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, the Surgery Center's equipment is presently fully funded, and gifts toward capital can be matched up to $40M through an anonymous donor sponsor!
